Tsingtuo to add new 400 series stainless line
Tsingtuo Group is investing in a 900,000 tonnes/year 400 series stainless steel project at its Fujian subsidiary, according to the China Stainless Steel Council. The mill is planned to commission in 2018 after one year of construction, Kallanish notes.
According to the announcement Tsingtuo has only 200 and 300 series stainless steel capacity in China. The project recently received approval after its second round of environmental evaluation audits.
