Tsingshan starts constructing Zimbabwe steel plant
Chinese stainless steel giant Tsingshan Group has started the construction of its 1.2 million tonnes/year steel plant in Chivhu in Zimbabwe, according to local media reports.
The Group's subsidiary Dinson Iron & Steel is in charge of the project, and it expects to see hot tests in December 2022 and steel production in early 2023, Kallanish notes.
