Trump’s win seen as positive for fossil fuels
Called by some shell-shocked media the biggest political upset in 240 years of United States, President-elect Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton should have a positive impact on the nation’s fossil fuel industries.
While energy policy received little attention from either candidate through the interminably long campaign, Trump when he addressed the industry said things that resonated with coal miners, oil and gas producers and drillers.
