Trump presidency seen benefiting Indian engineering exports
Donald Trump’s plan to expand US infrastructure during his prospective presidency could provide an opportunity for Indian steel-consuming engineering product exports, according to the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) of India.
Indian engineering exports to the US, their largest destination, have dropped in recent months. They fell -10% on-year in April-September 2016 to $3.2 billion.
