US truck tonnage recovers in May
US trucking tonnage appears to have surged in May, Kallanish learns from the American Trucking Association.
The association’s for-hire tonnage index increased 6.5% in May, having fallen -1.5% in April. Year-on-year, the index is up 4.8%.
