Trinecke Zelezarny to reduce emissions with new projects
Blast furnace-based Czech steelmaker Trinecke Zelezarny (TZ) plans to start implementing projects to cut CO2 emissions in half by 2030.
The first to be started next year is the construction of a new emission-free briquetting line with a capacity of up to 500,000 tonnes of briquettes/year, which will wholly replace steel plant sinter and partially blast furnace sinter, Kallanish notes.
