Trinecke Zelezarny replaces furnace stove, expands downstream
Trinecke Zelezarny (TZ) has completed the installation of a new Kalugin hot blast stove at blast furnace no.6, replacing the old stove that no longer met requirements, the Czech steelmaker says. Once commissioned in February 2020, the new unit will significantly reduce heat consumption and loss.
