Trinecke Zelezarny output rises, profit hits new low
Trinecke Zelezarny (TZ) saw crude steel output inch up 73,000 tonnes on-year in 2020 to 2.58 million tonnes, despite the Covid-19 pandemic impact, but revenue fell 8% to CZK 35.1 billion ($1.64 billion). Net profit was CZK 469 million, the lowest in over a decade.
