Trinecke Zelezarny eyes cold briquetting, coke oven gas
Trinecke Zelezarny (TZ) plans to start re-using coke oven gas to heat various production units by year-end. The investment, expected to exceed CZK 200 million ($9.1m), is designed to save on future purchases of natural gas, the firm says.
The introduction of coke oven gas into the firm’s operations will mean construction of new distribution, security and measurement systems, including burners and their automatic control.
