Tribunal orders government to return SL Mining licence
The Gerald Group subsidiary SL Mining is continuing its war of attrition with the government of Sierra Leone over the withdrawal of SL’s mining licence by the country’s authorities. SL Mining was operating iron ore mining facilities in Sierra Leone in its Marampa project until the government suddenly withdrew the miner’s licence following a disagreement over royalties.
