SLN suspends work at New Caledonia facility
French nickel producer Société le Nickel (SLN) has suspended work on the opening of three new nickel mineral deposits at Kouaoua, New Caledonia. This follows an emergency order from the regional government in North Province on 31 August, Kallanish learns from a statement by the company. SLN is part of the French Eramet group of companies.
