Tree Island's profitability suffers in first quarter
Vancouver-based wire producer Tree Island Steel’s performance in the first quarter suffered on-year due to lower sales volumes and diminished earnings.
Leaders at the company are attributing the decline in sales volume to the impending foreclosure of its Etiwanda site.
