Transnet to shut Iron Ore Corridor for maintenance
Transnet Freight Rail will conduct a ten-day annual maintenance shutdown on the Iron Ore Corridor starting 16 October. This will include the installation of a permanent bridge to replace the temporary emergency bridge installed at Vredendal following last November’s incident.
