TransCanada moves on Coastal GasLink project
In an announcement on Tuesday, TransCanada said it plans to proceed with building the Coastal GasLink natural gas pipeline in western Canada, Kallanish reports.
That announcement came in the wake of Royal Dutch Shell and its partners agreeing on a final investment decision to build a liquefied natural gas liquefaction and export facility at Kitimat, British Columbia. The value of the project is CAD 40 billion ($31.2 billion).
