Toyota adjusts June production lower again
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota again decided to cut its June production due to the parts shortage resulting from the spread of Covid-19, Kallanish learns from the company’s official announcement.
Operations at some domestic plants have been suspended from Friday last week, following a Covid-19 outbreak at one of Toyota’s suppliers, and a shortage of parts supply caused by a production equipment defect at another supplier.
