Total US imports creep up in June
US imports appear to have risen from May to June, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Citing data from the US Department of Commerce, the institute puts total steel import applications at 2.003 million short tons, 1.415m st of which was finished. That’s up 10.9% from May’s final total number, but down -5.7% from May’s final finished number.
