New Tosyalı-SULB JV eyes 8.1mt Libya DRI capacity
Newly formed Benghazi-based Tosyalı-SULB, a partnership between Tosyalı and Libya United Steel Company for Iron and Steel Industry (Sulb), will build 8.1 million tonnes/year of direct reduced iron production capacity.
The site will employ Midrex Flexi DRI technology and hydrogen as a clean energy source, utilising technology already implemented at Tosyalı Algerie in neighbouring Algeria.
