Tosyali Algeria may offer export slab
The gap between launching the electric arc furnace (EAF) and the hot rolled flat steel line at Tosyali Algeria may prompt slab offering on the global market, market participants informed Kallanish.
Tosyali Algerie, a subsidiary of Turkish conglomerate Tosyali Holding, aims to launch an EAF with capacity of 2.2 million tonnes/year at the end of May, while HRC production is planned for the second half of the year.
