Ton Dong A adds colour coat capacity
Vietnam’s Ton Dong A has ordered a new 120,000 tonnes/year colour coating line to add to its expanding flats capacity, says equipment supplier Danieli. The Italian engineer has already supplied cold rolling and galvanising lines to the Vietnamese re-roller, Kallanish notes.
The new line will run at 120 metres/minute and will handle HDG strips up to 1,250mm wide and 1.2mm thick. Production is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2018.
