Tokyo Steel holds steel offers steady for October
Tokyo Steel, Japan’s top electric arc furnace steelmaker, says it will hold steel product prices steady in October. This is to ensure the domestic market can absorb the rises over recent months, Kallanish notes from its statement.
Prices of the firm’s main H-beam products will thus remain at JPY 106,000/tonne ($967/t), while hot rolled coil will remain unmoved at JPY 110,000/t.
