Tokyo Steel announces March steel prices
For March this year, Japan’s leading EAF-based steelmaker Tokyo Steel only raised offers of H-beams and deformed bars, while maintaining stable offers for other products, Kallanish learns.
The prices of H-beams have been raised by JPY 3,000/tonne ($22.3/t) for March contracts, but the price hike will not apply to H-beams in a thickness of 148-340mm and a width of 100-250mm.
