TMK's Tagmet achieves production record
Taganrog Metallurgical Works (Tagmet) has achieved 3,000 tonnes of crude steel production from its electric arc furnace, a record since the unit was commissioned in 2013, Kallanish learns from Russian parent TMK.
The tonnage was achieved by using a higher portion of heavy melting scrap which reduced melting time.
