TMK Seversky EAF heat recovery unit cuts costs
TMK has commissioned a heat recovery unit at an electric arc furnace at its Seversky Pipe Plant. The unit will recover energy from the EAF’s exhaust gases for reuse in heating the plant, thus increasing efficiency and cutting costs, according to the Russian pipemaker.
