TMK sees weak LDP demand, hikes Q1 revenue
TMK has maintained its projection that Russian seamless OCTG pipe consumption will see moderate on-year growth in 2017 but large-diameter pipe (LDP) use will remain weak due to pipeline project rescheduling. The Russian pipemaker’s consolidated first-quarter revenue rose 24% on-year to $944 million thanks to stronger American division volumes, while net profit rose 196% to $42m.
