TMK launches new high-corrosion resistant grade pipe
Russia’s TMK has begun production of pipes using a high-corrosion resistant alloy developed by the company itself, the tubemaker tells Kallanish.
The corrosion-resistant chromium-nickel so-called TMK-C alloy was developed by TMK for the production of pipes used for oil and gas wells with particularly high hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide content in the extracted product.
