tk-funded study emphasises recyclability of tinplate
The degree of recyclability of cans is almost identical to the tinplate content of their packaging, a study by research institute cyclos-HTP on behalf of thyssenkrupp Rasselstein has found while analysing commonly-available tinplate packaging.
A three-piece food can with a ring pull end, for instance, has a high degree of recyclability of 95%. Essentially, this small difference to100% recyclability has to do with labelling, Kallanish learns from the company.
