Tigers Realm Coal reports wider losses in 1H
Australian coking coal producer Tigers Realm Coal, which operates mining in Far East Russia, has reported growing losses in the first half ended 30 June as revenue declined sharply due to the late start of the shipping season, Kallanish notes.
The firm incurred a net loss of AUD 7.23 million ($4.99m) compared to a net loss of AUD 309,000 a year ago. Its revenue also plunged 87.54% to AUD 1.84m from AUD 14.77m.
