Tianzhu Steel signs blast furnace contract with CERI
Tianzhu Steel in Hebei province has signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited (CERI) for two blast furnaces, Kallanish notes.
The two BFs, part of Tianzhu Steel’s relocation project, are expected to have a capacity of 3.04 million tonnes/year after commissioning. Five BFs with a total capacity of 3.8m t/y are planned to be dismantled for this new project.
