Tianjin Rockcheck receives delayed EAF environmental approval

Tianjin Rongcheng United Iron & Steel Group (Rockcheck) has received environment impact assessment (EIA) report approval for its electric arc furnace project, according to the Tianjin Ecology and Environment Bureau. At the existing plant, Rockcheck plans to invest CNY 980 million ($134m) to build one 70-tonne EAF and one 100t EAF.
