Tianjin retains four steel companies
Tianjin has completed the closure of three steel companies so far this year and now only retains four steel companies in the local area, according to Wang Wenmei, deputy director of Tianjin Ecology Bureau’s atmospheric environment department.
The three closed companies are Tianjin Tianzhong Jiangtian Heavy Industry, Tianjin Tianfeng Iron & Steel and Tianjin Metallurgical Group, Kallanish notes. The steelmakers had a total of 6.15 million tonnes…
