Tianfeng Steel shuts down early

Tianjin in northern China is speeding up its plan to shut down steel mills and withdraw capacity. This includes Tianfeng Steel, Zhasan Steel and Giant Heavy Industry. As of 14 September, Tianfeng Steel’s blast furnaces have all been suspended, which means it completed the shutdown plan half a month in advance, Kallanish notes.
