Thyssenkrupp forms joint venture with Duisburg port
Following approval from the German cartel office, the logistics joint venture between thyssenkrupp Steel Logistics GmbH and Duisburg port operator Duisburg Hafen AG (Duisport) is close to being finalised.
The steelmaker will hold 51% of the joint venture, with Duisport holding 49%. The JV’s goal is to pool expertise, making optimum use of existing capacities and, as partners, further developing Europe's largest steel and logistics location.
