US lifts Turkish rebar exports in December
Following their surge in November, Turkish rebar exports rose further in December, by 33.4% on-year to 622,554 tonnes. They were, however, down from 631,041t in November, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average sales price increased to $462.6/tonne versus $422.7/t in December 2019. It was also up from $440/t and $444/t in October and November 2020 respectively.
