UK, EU lift Turkish pipe exports in August
Turkish welded pipe exports rose by 30.2% on-year in August to 176,778 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also a significant rise from 93,742t in July, when shipments slumped.
The average value of August exports rose to $1,095/tonne from $642/t in August 2020, but fell from $1,112/t in July 2021.
