Texas pipe mill construction on track, says TPCO
The Chinese-invested TPCO America is on-track to bring its flagship seamless pipe mill in Gregory, Texas, online by 2017, according to business operations specialist Robbin Goodman.
The $1 billion, 500,000 metric tonne/year mill’s finishing operations were completed last year, Goodman says.
The mill’s rolling operations are currently under construction and equipment installation and commissioning is slated to be complete by the end of 2016.
