Ternium USA adds second coil coating paint line
Ternium USA is investing $98 million to add a second coil coating paint line to its Shreveport, Louisiana, facility.
The new line will have an annual coating capacity of 120,000 short tons, effectively increasing production capacity at the mill by 53%, Kallanish understands. Construction is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2022, with commercial operations planned to start mid-year 2024.
