Tenova supplies Arvedi with energy recovery system
Equipment provider Tenova has been awarded a contract to supply a new energy recovery system to the Arvedi plant located in Cremona, Northern Italy, Kallanish learns from the Techint group subsidiary.
The so-called iRecovery system will be built into in the existing system which heats and feeds metallic charge to the site’s 250-tonne electric arc furnace (EAF). The start-up of the system is scheduled to take place at the beginning of 2017.
