Tenova provides Consteel EAF to Nippon Steel
Italian metals industry technology supplier Tenova has agreed to supply Japan's Nippon Steel Corporation with a Consteel® electric arc furnace, Kallanish notes from Tenova's official website.
This, the first Consteel EAF to be constructed in Japan, will be installed at Nippon Steel’s Hirohata works. Production is targeted to start in the first half of financial 2022.
