TCIL plans capacity expansion amid high capacity utilisation
Tata Steel entity Tinplate Company of India (TCIL) will ramp up its tinplate production capacity by 300,000 tonnes/year to 679,000 t/y on the back of higher existing capacity utilisation. The company’s existing capacity utilisation clocked at above 90%, Kallanish notes.
