USS Gary plant expansion attracts tax breaks
The city of Gary, Indiana, has approved a tax relief program in response to proposed improvements to US Steel’s Gary Works, Kallanish reports. The Gary Redevelopment Commission voted unanimously to designate the region surrounding the plant as an economic development area which will enable the city to provide tax breaks for the company.
