Tata’s TSLP September-quarter steel, DRI output drop
Tata Steel subsidiary Tata Steel Long Product (TSLP)’s crude steel production fell 8% on-year to 161,000 tonnes in the fiscal quarter ended 30 September. This was also down 15% on-quarter against 191,000t for the June quarter.
TSLP’s direct reduced iron production grew by 3% on-year to 203,000t in the September quarter, against 198,000t produced a year earlier. DRI production plunged 13% on-quarter against 234,000t produced in the June quarter, Kallani…
