Tata’s TSLP June-quarter steel output surges, DRI down
Tata Steel subsidiary Tata Steel Long Product (TSLP)’s crude steel production grew 11% on-year to 191,000 tonnes in the fiscal quarter ended 30 June 2022. This was also up 15% on-quarter against 166,000t for the March quarter.
TSLP’s direct reduced iron production fell marginally to 234,000t in the June quarter, against 243,000t produced a year earlier.
