Tata Steel appoints new chairman to replace Mistry

India’s Tata Steel Limited says that it has removed the ex-Tata Sons chairman from its board of directors and that he will also be replaced as chairman of the company. In a statement to the stock exchange monitored by Kallanish, the steelmaker says it has removed Cyrus P Mistry from its board of directors. He will be replaced as chairman with immediate effect by O.
