Tata Steel appoints new chairman to replace Mistry
India’s Tata Steel Limited says that it has removed the ex-Tata Sons chairman from its board of directors and that he will also be replaced as chairman of the company.
In a statement to the stock exchange monitored by Kallanish, the steelmaker says it has removed Cyrus P Mistry from its board of directors. He will be replaced as chairman with immediate effect by O. P. Bhatt, currently an independent director on the board. Bhatt will serve as chairman till …
