Tata Steel divests Greek distributor JV
Tata Steel has divested its 50% stake in Greece-based steel distributor Tata Elastron to joint venture partner Elastron for €368,000 ($420,047), Kallanish learns from the Indian steelmaker.
Tata Elastron’s turnover in 2016 was €19.8 million ($22.6m) and the firm recorded a €1m loss before tax. Net assets as at 31 December 2016 amounted to €3.1m.
