Tata Steel BSL achieves record quarterly sales
Tata Steel BSL achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales in the third fiscal quarter through December 2019 of 1.26 million tonnes. This was up 37% on-year and 20% on-quarter, supported by higher domestic and export sales. Crude steel output rose 11% on-year to 1.15mt.
The unit’s revenue grew 3% on-year to INR 5,038 crores ($705.4 million), but Ebitda slumped -72% to INR 284 crores.
