Tata Metaliks deliveries surge, capacity expansion advances
Tata Metaliks’ pig iron deliveries surged 19% on-year to 341,000 tonnes in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2022 (FY22), against 287,000t sold a year earlier. March-quarter sales also grew 8% on-year to 86,000t, Kallanish notes.
Ductile iron (DI) pipe sales picked up by 22% to 237,000t in FY22, against 194,000t in FY21. March-quarter DI pipe sales, however, dropped 8% to 69,000t, against 75,000t a year earlier.
