Tata Metaliks carries out Kharagpur blast furnace maintenance
Merchant pig iron and ductile iron (DI) pipe producer Tata Metaliks (TML) plans to restart on 16 September the second blast furnace at Kharagpur following planned maintenance. The unit was shut down on 12 September, Kallanish notes.
TML’s revenue rose 7% on-year in the June quarter to INR 49,903 lakhs ($70.3 million), but net profit fell -36% to INR 1,962 lakhs.
