Tata Metaliks absorbs ductile iron pipe subsidiary

Merchant pig iron producer Tata Metaliks (TML) has amalgamated with wholly-owned subsidiary Tata Metaliks DI Pipes, Kallanish learns from parent company Tata Steel. TML produced 425,834 tonnes of pig iron in the fiscal year through March 2016, up 6% on-year, while ductile iron pipe output rose 20% on-year to 133,210t.
