Tashin returns to profitability in 3Q
Malaysian steel products manufacturer Tashin has returned to the black in the third quarter, underpinned by improved margins, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing that it posted a net profit of MYR 487,000 ($104,104) in the third quarter, as compared to a net loss of MYR 2.85 million a year ago.
The group says its margin for the quarter improved due to a reduction in the average cost of raw materials.
