Tashin reports lower profit in first quarter

Malaysian steel products manufacturer Tashin has reported lower earnings in the first quarter ended 31 March, 2024, due to lower revenue and higher operating expenses, Kallanish notes.  The firm says in a bourse filing that its net profit fell 26.05% year-on-year to MYR 1.59 million ($338,900) in the first quarter.
